Mena Alexandera Suvari, born in 1979 is an American actress, model and fashion designer. Her birth date was 13 February 1979. After a brief stint as a model in the fashion industry and then a transition to acting by appearing as guest stars on TV shows like Boy Meets World in the 1990s as well as High Incident. The film debut came in the drama Nowhere. Her roles in American Beauty, for which she won an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie brought her to broader interest. The next time she appeared was in Loser (2000) in which she starred alongside American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Then she appeared as the title character on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2002). The film also featured her in the 2002 independent drama Spun and in the 2004 thriller film Trauma. The other films she appeared in include HBO's comedy Six Feet Under.
